Materials & Dimensions

Each pendant in this series is carved from solid natural heartwood selected from a tree that had been struck by lightning. It is genuine wood—not resin, plastic or an engineered wood composite. Heartwood is the dense inner section of the tree, chosen for its close grain and material integrity. Because colour, grain direction, growth marks and tonal depth occur naturally, no two pendants will be identical; these variations are part of the material rather than defects.
