A Careful Review Process for Natural and Symbolic Objects.
Because Dao Origin works with natural materials, handmade surfaces, and symbolic objects, every return request is reviewed with attention to condition, description accuracy, and the reason for return.
When to Contact Us
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from the product description, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include your order number, clear photos of the product, packaging, shipping label, and a short description of the issue.
Natural Variation
Wood grain, tone, patina, small surface marks, hand finishing, and color variation are part of natural material character. These differences are not automatically considered defects.
Photos are reviewed to determine whether the issue is natural variation or a product problem.
Eligibility
Approved returns must usually be unused, unworn, unaltered, clean, and returned with original packaging where applicable.
Items damaged by use, improper care, impact, moisture, modification, or personal handling may not qualify for return or refund.
Non-Returnable Cases
Custom requests, special orders, used items, altered items, and products returned without approval may not be accepted.
Symbolic expectations, spiritual outcomes, luck, protection, or personal interpretation are not return reasons because we do not sell guaranteed outcomes.
Refund Review
Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will confirm whether a refund, partial refund, replacement, or store credit is appropriate.
Original shipping charges and return shipping costs may be non-refundable unless the issue was caused by our error.
How to Start
Do not send items back before contacting us. Unapproved returns can be delayed, refused, or lost.
